Hi, I’m Alison, Director and Head Trainer for Insight Training Academy.
I started Insight Training Academy because I know what it’s like to work in care without the proper training or support.
After years in the sector, I saw too many people being asked to do difficult, important jobs without the confidence or knowledge they needed. That’s why I’m passionate about delivering honest, practical training that truly prepares people for the realities of care work.
I don’t believe in ticking boxes or delivering one-size-fits-all sessions. My approach is hands-on, straightforward, and rooted in real-world experience.
With over 15 years of training behind me, I focus on giving staff the skills to stay safe, speak up when something’s not right, and provide the best care possible—with confidence and compassion.
